Greetings I’m Rhonda Yvette Brown,

I’m a native of San Antonio, Texas where I attended and graduated from Highlands High School. I went on to attend Angelo State University graduating with an Associates of Science in Nursing Degree, then graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a Bachelor of Christian Ministry Degree, following that I went on to complete graduate work receiving a Master of Education in Curriculum Instruction from Concordia University.  I have over 25 years of experience as an educator and I want every child to be affirmed and equipped with the knowledge that they were created for greatness with their diversities. I desire to see all people walk out their destiny in life and live well.

Blessings to all, I am J. Anthony Brown- a life-long learner, and a lover of Christ.

Born in Mobile, Alabama, my father moved our family here to San Antonio when Brookley Air Force Based there in Mobile closed in the late 60’s.  I am a product of the San Antonio Independent School District where I graduated from Louis W. Fox Technical High School with a strong emphasis in music.  As a young man I entered the United State Air Force and served my country honorably.  After leaving the military I wrapped up my undergraduate work in a Biological Science degree from Wayland Baptist University.  I was fortunate to also complete a Master of Education degree in Transformational Leadership from Concordia University.  Presently I am working to complete a doctorate in education with emphasis in Transformational Leadership and the impact of Trauma.

My experience in education spans some 20 plus years, everything from teaching music classes, a general education teacher, and on to various leadership roles.  My reason for working in the ministry of education is primarily to help guide young people to Christ.  I take great joy in helping young people reach a level of academic mastery but more than that, to help point them to salvation and a personal relationship with the Lord.
